Ready to learn a lifelong skill? In this fun, hands-on beginner sewing class, young makers will learn the fundamentals of sewing while building confidence and creativity. Students will become familiar with sewing machine safety, learn how to properly thread and operate a sewing machine, practice basic stitching techniques, and gain essential sewing skills that will set them up for future projects. As they learn, each student will create a beginner-friendly sewing project to take home, giving them the opportunity to apply their new skills and experience the excitement of making something from start to finish. No prior sewing experience is necessary - just bring your creativity and a willingness to learn!
