PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THROUGH ALL INFORMATION BEFORE ENROLLING. *Registration is for the entire 2025/26 school year (September-April) *Class is open to students in grades 6+UP. In this weekly 1.5-hour class designed just for our upper grade students, artists will explore their creativity through reading, writing, making and creating! Participants will learn the fundamentals of art as they are introduced to a wide variety of mediums and new processes to make beautiful masterpieces in our signature style. They will learn art history through the in-depth study of four famous artists, including Bob Ross, Jeff Koons, John James Audobon and Mary Blair. Students will learn about each artist's life story and their unique artistic styles. They will replicate famous artwork and complete a biography report about each artist. Participants will also study the seven Elements of Art (color, line, shape, value, form, texture and space) through hands-on art projects and sketchbook activities. In addition to our art history study, we will celebrate the holidays with the cutest & merriest Christmas projects and our "Cookies & Cocoa" pajama party in December, and exchange friendship cards for Valentine’s Day in February. We'll culminate the year with an Art Show for family and friends at the end of April! PLEASE READ: This is a year-long, 30-week commitment. The cost is $100 per month for eight months, September-April, totaling $800 for the year ($400 per semester). Cost includes all instruction (60 hours), materials, and special class activities. A $50 non-refundable registration fee is required to enroll your child and secure their space for the year. Monthly invoices will be emailed and are due by the 5th of each month September-April. There will be no class the week of November 24 (Thanksgiving), December 22 & 29 (Christmas), and April 6 (Spring Break). Art Shows will be the week of April 27.
