Service Description

In this weekly, 2-hour class designed just for our youngest artists, kindergarteners will explore their creativity through drawing, reading, writing and making! We will focus on basic art skills and use a variety of mediums to create beautiful artwork in our signature style. Participants will learn art history through the study of master artist, Vincent Van Gogh. The book, Vincent Van Gogh: He Saw the World in Vibrant Colors, will be read together aloud in class. Students will replicate Van Gogh's work and complete a simple report. In addition, participants will create an ABC Sketchbook. Holiday projects will be the focus in December, as we create the most darling keepsake ornaments and decorations. Students will also receive a professional Christmas sugar cookie decorating lesson with local cookie artist, Brittney's Cookie Creations. We will celebrate Halloween and Christmas with a special class activity! PLEASE READ: This is a semester-long, 14-week commitment. The cost is $95 per month for four months, September-December, totaling $380 for the fall semester (28 hours of instruction). Cost includes all instruction, materials, and special class activities. Enrollment secures your child's space for the semester and covers payment for September. Monthly invoices will be emailed and due by the 5th of each month October-December. Please enroll only if you are able to make the time and financial commitment. Students registered for fall semester will have priority enrollment for spring semester. Those who continue into spring will showcase their artwork from the entire school year in our art shows in May.
