entrepreneurship & the love of handmade!

Here at Happy Artists, we're on a mission to inspire the children of our community to make things! We want to encourage them to get off their devices, develop creativity, and learn about entrepreneurship. We're inviting any young maker (under the age of 18) to participate in our Makers Market. We will be hosting our next Market on Saturday, October 22. Please sign up only if you are committed to attending. Capacity for market will be 35 participants.

• Young maker must create the product him/herself

• Must be accompanied by an adult

Handmade items can include ANYTHING your little maker loves to create.  Some ideas to consider: jewelry, small paintings, drawings, handmade cards, soaps, candles, holiday items, etc. It is suggested that artists make a "batch" of their product for the market. Please do not allow young makers to bring used items from home to sell. All goods must be newly handmade.

Each maker will receive a table to arrange their handmade items (inside or outside of the studio). Bring products priced and ready to display. We will have table coverings, wooden crates and tabletop chalkboard signs for arranging and advertising your product. Customer purchases will be cash only. Each maker will handle their own monetary transactions, so please bring change. Arrive to the Maker's Market 30-45 minutes early to set up your items and be ready for customers!
